Sometimes buying one expensive piece of clothing can be daunting. Whether your “high” price is $50 or $500, it’s good to make that piece a basic that you can style at least 3 ways. Here is one of my favorite pieces right now; it’s a jacket from Focus 2000 with great seaming detail in the front and hooks instead of buttons for a closure.
- The jacket ($80) styled with the matching pants ($50) and chiffon ruffle sleeveless shell ($40)
- Same jacket, but this time it is paired with a dressy shell from Papillon Blanc (which at $70 is a bit of an investment piece itself, but the multi-stripe pattern makes it easy to pair with multiple things too!) White denim ($50) brightens up this outfit and makes it a fun option for a lunch out or casual Friday.
- Style option #3 is the most casual of the three and starts with the jacket, although this time the sleeves are rolled up. Layered under it is a casual cotton tee from Jennifer Dahl designs ($38) and it is paired with a denim skirt ($40) but you can have the same look with a pair of denim or khaki shorts or a pair of jeans.
